The moment we landed in Nice I knew I was going to fall in over all over again with Monaco. My parents had taken me as a child and I remember standing on the marina alongside the huge yachts and feeling tiny. I remember looking up at the mountains, the ocean and the sun and being in total amazement.

The flight there is super fast from London. 2hr 10 from Standsted direct to Nice and then a short transfer to Monte Carlo.

I was flown out to work on a special project with Fairmont. There are few hotels I've ever stayed at where there is everything (and I mean everything - hello Nobu) within the hotel complex. It's located on the ocean front and also oversees the Fairmont hair-pin bend, one of the most dramatic elements of the Monaco's Formula 1 circuit. Impressive to say the least.

H O T E L     H I G H L I G H T S:
The Spa - After a long day trekking around Monte Carlo we experienced the lavishly designed spa. I went for the classic Monte Carlo Massage and it was all sorts of dreamy.

Nobu - We took a sushi making class which I can only describe as one of my favourite things that I have ever (ever) done. I've dined at multiple of the global Nobu's but if I'm being honest, nothing quite compared to the Nobu here. The views there are panoramic, and add a candy coloured sunset into the mix you may be tempted to eat here every night...

Nikki Beach - Monaco's Nikki Beach is my favourite Nikki Beach. Located on the rooftop of The Fairmont, you can lounge at your leisure all day long. Eat, drink, sleep and swim and then collapse straight into your bed without having to think about journeying back to your hotel. The element of height associated with it being a rooftop pool really makes it that much more fun.

Horizon Bar - Another addition to the hotel that I was particularly fond of is the Horizon Bar. It more than lives up to it's name with vast ocean views all across Monaco. The drinks are some of the best I have ever had and the vibe morning till dusk is utterly faultless.

Le Labo Toiletries - I like Le Labo Rose okay. Super luxe marble bathrooms and a bathtub full of Le Labo everything (bubbles) made me very happy.
